Urology

Urology is a surgical subspecialty that treats patients of all ages from children to adulthood. Problems and issues involving both males and females are addressed. Specifically, issues that affect the kidneys, ureters, bladder and prostate as well as the penis and the testicles are treated including erectile dysfunction. Common procedures include treatment for kidney stones, urination difficulty in men and women, and vasectomies. Urologists also treat bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers. In addition, urologists also treat both male and female voiding difficulty such as frequency, urgency and incontinence.
